The cushionless wicker chair/ottoman combination (which is pictured in all the hotel photos and also shows up poolside) was weird and uncomfortable, it's a ridiculous choice for a hotel room. It was obvious that it had been recently renovated - in fact, as I walked down the hall I could see into other rooms that were currently undergoing renovation. The room itself was fine. I stayed in a deluxe king on the third floor. In spite of its independent ownership, 'Weber’s Boutique Hotel' feels just like part of a lower mid-tier hotel chain. When I was deciding where to stay in Ann Arbor I was influenced by the 'boutique' part of the hotel name. Upon arrival, though, it was immediately clear that this is NOT a boutique hotel.
